Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE): Lighting Upgrade Grant
for small businesses

Description

Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) will cover 50% of the costs to replace T12 fluorescent lighting with LED lighting.

 

Eligibility

  • Generally, small businesses located in Boulder County that have been in operating for two years (details on PACE website)

Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE): Refrigeration and Restaurant Equipment Grant
for food service businesses

Description

Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) will cover 70% of the costs to replace outdated equipment with new energy efficient equipment. Additionally, it will cover the cost of delivery and installation of the new equipment and will properly dispose of the old equipment.

 

Eligibility

  • Generally, small businesses located in Boulder County that have been in operating for two years (details on PACE website below)
  • Existing equipment must have been manufactured prior to 2005; eligible equipment includes:
    • Refrigerator units with doors
    • Freezer units with doors
    • Merchandisers
    • Dishwashers
    • Ice machines
    • PACE will consider applications for replacing other types of equipment on a case by case basis

70% of cost of new equipment

Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE): Solar Rebates and Grants
for businesses, non-profits and multifamily housing

Description

Grants and rebates vary, but Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) may cover  as high as 50% of the costs of the solar system for for-profit businesses and 70% of the costs of the system for nonprofits, up to a cap of $35,000.
