Supported with public/private partnership funding, the Colorado Emerging Ventures Growth Series is a targeted consulting and education program to assist scalable pre- and post-revenue businesses that are poised for high growth — including biotech, IT, aerospace, cleantech, outdoor and natural products and other key industries.
If your business is in the Advanced Industries or is any scalable venture with high market potential, you may qualify to participate in the SBDC’s Colorado Emerging Ventures (CEV) program. High-caliber expert strategic consultants and specialists can assist you to identify and analyze new marketing and growth opportunities, build sales and distribution channels, develop sales compensation plans, build commercialization plans for SBIR grants and contracts, prepare for funding opportunities and prosper in competitive markets. Just tell us about your situation when you sign up.
Workshops and Roundtables
Held throughout the year, topics for these short, interactive, single-topic sessions have included Building Sales and Distribution Channels, Valuation, Access to Capital, How to Pitch an Angel, Building Your Sales Team and more.
Roundtables are currently focused on the SBIR programs, especially Commercializing Technology. These are facilitated group discussions by SBIR grant and contract holders, sharing their experiences, challenges and successes. SBIR and Commercialization specialists participate in the discussion and may present short, relevant content segments.
For all current CEV programs, there is no charge for attendance for qualified ventures. For additional information, please contact Sharon King at 303-442-1475 x3 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tech Venture Accelerator
TVX is a 10-part virtual cohort series designed to help emerging companies in Colorado’s advanced industries to overcome hurdles in order to accelerate growth and development. The format, topics and tangible assistance the program offers was developed from success working with early- and second-stage science and technology ventures for more than 10 years. TVX focuses on growth through non-dilutive capital sources (so you aren’t giving away any equity in your company) and technology commercialization.
