LEADING EDGE Entrepreneurship Series for Startups and New Businesses is a 10-week program that builds to a completed business plan to test feasibility, to access financing or to use as a blueprint for launch and growth. TechVenture Accelerator is a facilitated multi-session Cohort Group series designed to help existing biotech, IT, aerospace, cleantech and advanced manufacturing companies to overcome growth and development hurdles. The format is not presentations or instruction, but rather group exchange with infusion from content specialists as part of the conversations. Materials used will be Business Model Generation by Osterwalder & Pigneur.

Colorado Emerging Ventures (CEV) Growth Series is a targeted consulting and education program to assist scalable pre- and post-revenue businesses that are poised for high growth — including biotech, IT, aerospace, cleantech, outdoor and natural products and other key industries. Held throughout the year, topics for these short, interactive, single-topic sessions have included:

  • Access to Capital
  • How to Pitch an Angel
  • Building Your Sales Team
  • Intro/Advanced Government Contracting
  • Export and International Trade

SBIR Roundtable Series brings together businesses that have received SBIR grants and contracts to share their challenges and experiences, to learn from expert specialists and from each other. These are short, interactive sessions guided by the preferences of the businesses that participate. Attendance is no charge to qualified ventures.

The Bilingual Business Boot Camp Series 4-week program combines class time and individual consulting to help you quickly develop your business plan and to decide if your business is feasible. The four workshops include:

  2. Marketing
  3. Organizational Issues
  4. Financial Overview

This series qualifies low-to-moderate income business owners (and startups) for Boulder County Community Action Program’s Personal Investment Enterprise (PIE) Grant.

Latino Business Mentor Roundtable Series is a new format that was launched in early 2015. This 5-session roundtable group will be a bilingual conversation among Latino-owned businesses — to create meaningful connections, develop strong mentorships, create opportunities for business success and bring together relevant and meaningful resources to support the Latino businesses.
